STILL LIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
My still-life photography is where cooking, food styling, set design and visual storytelling come together. I create each image from the ground up—developing the concept, preparing and cooking the food, carefully plating every element, building the scene and photographing the final composition.
With an extensive collection of props, tableware, cutlery, glassware, surfaces, textures and backdrops, I can create a visual world that supports the product, dish or brand story. Every detail is intentionally selected, from the colour of a plate and placement of a garnish to the texture of the surface and balance of the composition. I also create and adapt backdrops and styling elements when a project requires something more distinctive or completely bespoke.
Lighting is central to my creative process. I shape and control the light to enhance colour, form and texture while establishing the atmosphere of the image. Depending on the brief, the result may feel bright and fresh, soft and natural, warm and inviting, or rich and dramatically editorial.
Because I manage the entire process myself—from concept development, cooking and food preparation to styling, set construction, photography and detailed post-production—I can maintain a consistent creative vision throughout the shoot. This complete, hands-on approach allows me to produce polished, original still-life imagery that captures attention, communicates quality and makes food and products feel genuinely desirable.
